The ZOLL AED Plus runs on ten CR123A lithium batteries, and keeping a fresh set on hand is one of the simplest ways to ensure your device is ready when it matters most. This 10-pack uses Duracell CR123A cells, the battery type recommended by ZOLL for optimal defibrillator performance.

After installation, press the internal battery reset button when prompted by the AED to confirm the new batteries. ZOLL advises using only Duracell CR123A batteries in the AED Plus; batteries from other manufacturers are not recommended and may cause delayed charge times during an emergency response.
